People like to say that he is “heteroflexible” or “open minded” but in my opinion he is just a straight man who likes attention.īeing open to acting on homosexual feelings if they were ever to arise within you does not make you anything other than straight. He seems to talk about the gay community more than a lot of members of the gay community do themselves, and he seems to be vague about his sexuality in a purposeful way to gain attention.
I personally don’t understand what is funny about homosexual intimacy, and I feel that it affects the gay movement in a negative way to encourage making fun of gay love. My main issue is that he claims to be an advocate for the lgbt community but he is constantly going onto television shows and kissing men for comedic reasons. I can understand people liking him because he is supportive, but I can’t help but feel like he is using the gay community for attention and clout.
So I know that this post is probably going to be downvoted, but it is something that I truly don’t understand.Īndrew Garfield has been heralded as a champion of gay rights by the gay community, and I have seen many compilations of Andrew circling gay subreddits and accounts especially of him kissing other men.
